The matters have been referred to the Bermuda Police Service for further investigation. TNN spoke with Major Duncan Simons, the Adjutant for the RBR, who confirmed the incident stating “I can speak to the fact that there was a complaint logged which has been referred to the police. Beyond that we cannot speak to it.

“The moment, in terms of that incident, we learned about it, we involved the police service. I cannot verify what it was or who was involved, that is a matter for the Bermuda Police Service. Our soldiers are taught very clear procedures about logging complaints. This is in fact the first procedure they learn when they come to Warwick camp.”
