The Bello Mania Circus has come to Bermuda. From February 22 – 24, 2018 the public have the option to buy tickets and attend the event at the Ruth Seaton James Auditorium at the CedarBridge Academy. TNN had the opportunity to interview Bello and get further insight into what the audience can look forward to within such an event.

Argus today announces its $25,000 sponsorship of A Piece of the Rock’s new Community Outreach programme. A Piece of the Rock, a prominent road safety documentary and campaign, is designed to raise awareness of the core issues related to road safety in Bermuda and encourage the public to take action and personal responsibility towards improving road safety for all.

An event held Friday February 16th, 2018, on the Bottom Road of Middle Town in Pembroke Parish aimed to bring the youth and the community in the area closer together through a slew of fun packed games and activities.

As of Monday, February 19th through April 27th garbage collection will be once per week, as announced by the Ministry of Public Works recently.

Bermuda Hospitals Board today announces a new recognition programme for its highly valued regular blood and apheresis* donors. From 14 February 2018, when someone passes a landmark blood or apheresis donation of 10, 20, 50, 75 and 100 donations, they will be awarded a special blood donor pin recognizing their contribution to saving lives in Bermuda.

Next Tuesday, February 20th, 2018, from 9 – 11:30 a.m. Paget Primary School will transform the classrooms into Black History Museums celebrating Black Bermudians who have made contributions to Bermuda. Each class has studied, researched and will have on hand artifacts of a Black Bermudian (alive or deceased).

The search is on for applicants to fill the role of regulators of key business sectors that are to fall under the purview of the Regulatory Authority of Bermuda. The countdown has started to the 100th anniversary of the foundation of one of the Bermuda’s largest unions – with dozens of events planned and a fundraising goal of $100,000 for scholarships. On February 1, 2019 the Bermuda Union of Teachers will be 100 years old and will celebrate the landmark with a gala dinner.
